Wyler Art Studio News: September 2007

Kristine Wyler's newest painting is Contemplation, a 20" x 16" oil painting in which she continues to employ old master techniques.  Contemplation depicts a Mohican Indian,  moments before he performs a native dance at a pow-pow.  Kris began this painting with a full-value graphite drawing and completed it with a high gloss finish.

Upcoming shows featuring Kris's work will include

• Stark State College Art Show, November 2 through December 14, 2007

• Watercolor Wizards at Studio M in the Massillon Museum (date pending)

• Solo show at North Canton's Little Art Gallery, August 15 - September 14, 2007

Kristine will also be one of the featured artist at the Mac Worthington Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, during October 2007.
