Wyler Art Studio News: November 2007

It's already a busy month for artist Kristine Wyler as she undertakes a new show, As The Spirit Moves at Stark State College, in North Canton, Ohio. The show, displaying paintings by Kristine Wyler and pottery by JoAnn S. Poulton, runs from November 6 through December 14, 2007.  Kris's 21 paintings are on display on the second floor of the Student Center.  Stark State College is located at  6200 Frank Avenue, Canton, Ohio 44702.  Gallery Hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon.  The gallery is closed on Sunday. You are cordially invited to the opening reception on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Among Kris's twenty-one paintings on display, you will find the following new paintings:

In addition to the flurry of pre-show framing and promotional activities, Kris also managed to spend a week in Santa Barbara and Montecito, California, where she explored various seascape subjects for her next round of painting.

Other upcoming shows featuring Kris's work will include

• Watercolor Wizards at Studio M in the Massillon Museum (date pending)

• Solo show at North Canton's Little Art Gallery, August 15 - September 14, 2007
