Wyler Art Studio News: January 2008

Explosion is Kristine Wyler's latest abstract painting, completed in gouache for a very luminous effect.  Explosion was recently shown at Stark State College in As The Spirit Moves.

Five of Kris's paintings will be on display at Gasser Fine Jewelers, during Downtown Canton's First Friday Celebration on Friday, February 1, 2008.  The celebrations last from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. Gasser Fine Jewelers is located at 205 Third Street N.W. in downtown Canton, Ohio.

Kris will soon be traveling to Sanibel and Captiva Islands in Florida to paint her beloved ocean scenes. She will be meeting with local Sanibel Island artist, Nancy Wilson, viewing her amazing watercolors. She will be doing some plein air watercolors.  However, don't expect any close-up paintings of alligators!

• First Friday Celebration, Downtown Canton, Gasser Fine Jewelers (Friday, February 1, 2008)

• Watercolor Wizards at Studio M in the Massillon Museum (July 11-August 17, 2008)

• Kristine Wyler solo show at North Canton's Little Art Gallery, August 15 - September 14, 2008
