Kris Wyler is exhibiting two paintings at the McFadden Gallery in
Malone University's Johnson Center. The exhibit opens on May 11 and
runs through August 23. The two paintings on display are both oils:
A New Day
and Invoking the
Spirit. The Gallery hours are Monday -
Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Closed Sunday.

Grand Finale and
Captiva Sunset by Kristine Wyler will
be shown at the 2009 Canton Artists League Spring Show at the Canton
Museum of Art, 1001 Market Avenue North, Canton, Ohio. The show
runs from May 21 through June 21, 2009. The opening reception for
this exhibit will be held at the museum on Thursday, May 21, 2009,
from 6 to 8 p.m., and is open to the public. The Juror of Awards for
the show is Jerry Zelinskas.
Crucifixion and
Inner Journey to the Garden of Gesthemane
by Kristine Wyler have been accepted for the Ursuline College
Religious Art Show at The Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery,
Ursuline College, 2550 Lander Road,
Pepper Pike, Ohio. Both of these paintings by Kristine Wyler
employ acrylic on watercolor paper. The opening will held on
Saturday, June 6th, from 7 to 9 PM. The show will run through
Sunday, August 2nd. Gallery Hours are Tuesday through Friday 12:00
to 5:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 1:30-4:30 PM William Martin Jean, juror for the show, will

Watermedia Wizards at Gallery 6000 in the Professional
Development Center at Kent State-Stark Campus, will continue to
display Kris's work through June 30th. Drop by to see Kris's
abstract paintings, Break of Dawn, Firedance,
Through the Eye of the Needle, and
Skywalkers.
This summer, Kris will be teaching two art classes at Malone
College. Watercolor for Art Teachers will be offered June
22-26. Students will learn to do "pours," fix watercolor mistakes,
and if weather permits, they will try plein air painting. Acrylic
Painting Projects for Art Teachers will be offered July 6-10,
and will offer the student experience with a variety of acrylic
paints, gels, textures, mediums and finishes. For more information,
